This type of event has your guests seated and served for the entire meal. The service includes house linen, china, and glassware, set-up, table service, event breakdown, and clean-up. If less than twenty guests are expected, a service charge may be added.
Coker University Dining Services may charge a fee, per person, for the use of china at your event. This pricing affects all on and off campus events.
Buffet service can be self-served or have a manned service station. A manned service station has a minimum requirement of 50 guests. This style of service includes two hours of food service time.
Drop-off service includes house linen tablecloths for buffet and guest tables, high-quality disposable ware, set-up, breakdown, and clean-up. Wait staff is not a requirement for this service. Upon delivery of your event, our professional staff will ensure that all items ordered are received and verified by your authorized representative prior to our departure. If requested, an attendant will ensure that all items are to your satisfaction. If an attendant is requested, or required based on the style of service provided, additional charges may be applied.
For menus presented buffet style, service includes delivery, setup, linens for buffet, and clean up. We provide eco-friendly service ware as a standard. China service ware is available upon request.
To avoid any prorated charges, all cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Coker University Dining Services Catering Manager at least 3 business days prior to your event. Failure to follow proper cancellation will result in a cancellation fee.
Due to Health Department regulations and Coker University Dining Services policy, food and beverage consumed on the college campus (with the exception of cakes) must be supplied by Coker University Dining. Health department regulations prohibit us from allowing guests to take home unconsumed food.
Menu prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Menu prices can only be guaranteed ninety (90) days in advance of your event.
You must notify us of your final guest count and menu selections no later than 7 business days prior to your scheduled event.
Special dietary meals can be provided at the same price as the selected entree. Allergies and Dietary restrictions must be disclosed at the time of giving the final guest count.
Events that are not held at Coker University are subject to additional charges.
House decorations on buffets are standard. House white/black linens are standard and include tablecloths. If you would like to enhance your event with special linens, Coker University Dining Services can handle those arrangements. For us to meet our commitment to you, we ask that you give us at least 14 business days’ notice to place the order and secure the linens.
